I'm just getting around to reviewing this album even though it came out in 2001 I believe. Anyway, production is solid. DJ Design, J Dilla and others have made a slamming LP and A.G, a veteran of Hip Hop has lost non of his lyrical ability. If anything, this album shows he's gotten better. The whole album is a solid listen from beginning to end but my personal favorite tracks are A Giant By Design produced by DJ Design, Hip Hop Quotable which features the singer Aloe Blacc. He's no Luther Vandross but he gets the job done and his vocals fit perfectly with the song. My last favorite is The Struggle but like I said all songs are well produced and worth listening to. I didn't care for the song If I Wanna but other than that one song the rest of the album is a winner. If you're a fan of A.G. and the Diggin In The Crates Crew and you don't own this album, shame on you. It has a very uplifting vibe to it as all true Hip Hop does. Anyway, just get it and bang it!
