I'm so happy to see Suicidal Tendencies as active as they've been in recent years. The addition of Dave Lombardo to the band was a real coup for Mike Muir. Lombardo has injected some needed energy into the band's approach and attitude. I loved the last full-length, World Gone Mad, and this EP was supposed to precede it. The new songs on here are full-on, high energy Suicidal, going back and forth between funky, upbeat metal and hardcore/punk attitude. The four versions of Get Your Fight On are different enough to keep from sounding repetitive as you listen to the EP. From what I've read, Suicidal may be in the process of putting together another full-length, thanks in particular to the urgings of Dave Lombardo. I can't wait for it, and in the meantime, I'll be playing this EP over and over again.
